Dumas, TX: staying overnight; Quality Inn. Two-star, maybe three-star. $141 total, with AAA discount. From here, one hour to Amarillo, and then about five hours to Dallas-Ft Worth area. Hope to be home around 1:00 p.m. Right on schedule.
Stratford, TX: about 10:00 p.m. CT; fuel stop only.
Kit Carson, CO: McDonald's. All McDonald's restaurants at which we stopped this trip, had easy wi-fi access but they had removed all electrical outlets. Will need to depend on Starbucks in future when laptop needs to be recharged.
Denver, CO: about 4:00 p.m.; fuel stop.
Cheyenne, WY: about 1:00 p.m. McDonald's. Duolingo lesson.
Casper, WY: about 11:00 a.m.; fuel stop.
Sheridan, WY: depart Baymont Inn and Suites, about 8:00 a.m.
